Extension:<\/p>\n
\u2022 The farm has an area of \u200b\u200b531 hectares, bounded by livestock mesh fence. It is entirety under one limit , being
\ncrossed by a road Herradura, which can only be used for
\npassage of cattle, being banned to any motor vehicles other than those belonging to the owners of the estate .<\/p>\n

\u2022 It is located south of the Sierra de Aracena.<\/p>\n
Environment:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Forestry , predominantly oak, lands used for livestock,
\npigs, cattle and sheep . Abundant game.<\/p>\n
It is divided into several interior fences of different sizes,
\nto facilitate handling of livestock. All of them connected by a road network of more than 12 kilometers in length, a the main ones in good condition, and the secondary ones covering all the estate, for tractors and ATV’s.<\/p>\n
It has a network of perimeter and internal firewalls, in compliance with the Forest Fire Prevention Plan approved and in force until 2014.<\/p>\n
It has a valley shape, with mild slopes , and a height of 600 meters above sea level on the north side, the minimum height is 415 meters on the central part, and 550 meters in the southern part.<\/p>\n
Vegetation : oak in varying density prevails throughout the farm . There are adult oaks of magnificent size , followed by an oak woodland, punctuated by different zones, where 500 quintals were uncorked in 2010. The next uncorking will be in year 2019 . The wild olive, with less density, are seen in different areas of the estate, there is also aboundant rosemary bush, cistus , rock , heather and gorse.<\/p>\n
Grass pastures …..<\/p>\n
There is an area of \u200b\u200babout 80 hectares , for the production of eucalyptus wood,in the last harvest 25,000 tons were chopped off, hoping to make the next cut in 2016<\/p>\n
Aquifers:<\/p>\n
Water is abundant . The farm is located on the Guadiana river basin . It is crossed from west to east by a bank that carries water
\nmuch of the year , leaving many puddles in summer, there are some springs .<\/p>\n
There are other springs in different enclosures, which are vital for livestock and preserve near the main farmhouse .<\/p>\n
The network of water points includes 7 wells; 3 probe ( one with a flow rate of 4 l \/ sec), and 4 of surface fed streams .<\/p>\n
One of these wells, pumps water by maintaining full level probes , a deposit of 16,000 liters , located on a hill , from where it falls under its own weight , serving the main house, livestock facilities and the drinking trough.<\/p>\n
All this network was recently renovated with first quality polyethylene pipes suitable for food use, it is one meter deep underground to prevent deterioration and possible frost securing regular supply .<\/p>\n
There are additional streams that can hold water during summer drought if the year has been rainy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t
